Teaching

Lessons and courses

Whether you are starting now or have played for years.

Rudy Mariani teaching a drum lesson to a student

People who want to learn, people who want to improve, people who already play: in the end everyone arrives at the same three questions. What should I do? When should I do it? Why should I do it?

There is a lot out there that amazes you. But when it is you on stage, in the studio, or writing a tune, what you need are those three answers — and that is the part almost nobody talks about.

That is where a lesson starts. Not from a programme that is the same for everybody: from you. What do you need? Do you know what you want? Do you have a goal?

I ask because I am still on that road myself, first of all. I walk it every evening I go on stage, and every year I go back to study with people who are further along than me.

Live online lessons

One to one, on video call, in real time. Not pre-recorded videos: you and me, once a week, on your sound and your goals.

  • 45 or 60 minute sessions
  • Material built around you
  • Corrections as you play, not a week later
  • Every level

In-person lessons

At the K Music Arts & Entertainment locations, the project I run across the provinces of Ferrara and Rovigo. Or at your place, if you are further away: in that case travel costs need to be covered, and I tell you what they are beforehand.

The "Quindi? Caragdur!" method

My method for people starting from zero. It works from age 6-8 upwards, from the first year of primary school. It comes out of years of teaching and of playing, and it lines up exactly those three questions: what, when, why.

  • A structured path across several levels

Not sure where to start?

Write to me and tell me where you are. I will tell you honestly which path is right for you, even if it is not mine.
