Privacy and cookies
Last updated: 13 September 2026
This is a personal site and a simple one: it sells nothing online, it profiles nobody and it does not live on advertising. It collects only what you type into the forms, and that is used to reply to you. Everything is spelled out below, plainly.
Who handles your data
Data controller: Rudy Mariani, Stienta (RO), Italy.
Contact: rudymarianimusic@gmail.com
What is collected and why
Contact form
When you fill in the form I collect your name, email address, type of request and the text of your message. They are used only to read you and answer you. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Waiting list (drum method and merch)
If you join the waiting list I collect your name, email address and the interest you selected, so I can tell you when those things are ready. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to me.
Technical data
With every submission the system records the date, time and IP address of whoever filled in the form: this is used only to defend against spam and automated submissions. The hosting server, like every server, also keeps its own technical access logs.
Where the data goes and how long it stays
Form messages arrive in an email inbox and stay there as long as they are needed to handle our exchange. Requests that lead nowhere are deleted within 24 months; waiting-list entries stay until you ask to be removed or until the list no longer has a reason to exist.
I do not sell, trade or hand over data to anyone for commercial purposes.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own, uses no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels and does not track your browsing. That is why you see no banner: there is nothing to accept.
The only exception is up to you: if you press play on a video, the YouTube player loads (see below) and from that moment Google's rules apply.
Third-party services
Cloudflare — visit statistics
To know how many people visit the site and where they come from I use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not identify individual visitors: it collects only aggregate data about the pages viewed, the type of device and the site you came from. That is why there is no banner to accept. The technical processing is Cloudflare, Inc.'s.
Hostinger — hosting
The site is hosted on servers run by Hostinger International Ltd (Lithuania, European Union), acting as data processor and keeping the server's technical logs.
Google Apps Script — form delivery
When you submit a form, what you wrote passes through a Google script connected to Rudy's mailbox, which delivers the message. That is all it does: the script neither stores the data nor uses it for anything else. The technical processing is Google Ireland Limited's.
Google Sheets — tour dates
Concert dates are read live from a Google spreadsheet shared read-only. To do that your browser contacts Google's servers, which can therefore see your IP address and the technical details of the request. That processing is controlled by Google Ireland Limited: policies.google.com/privacy.
YouTube — videos
Videos do not start on their own: until you click, the page only shows an image hosted on this site. If you press play, the YouTube player is loaded in no-cookie mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and from that moment Google may collect the data described in its own privacy notice.
Typefaces
The site's fonts are hosted on this server: no call to Google Fonts, no transfer of your IP address just to read the text.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google's services may involve a transfer of data to the United States, based on the safeguards of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
At any time you can ask me to give you access to your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, object to the processing, or receive it in a machine-readable format. Just write to rudymarianimusic@gmail.com: I reply within one month.
If you think something is wrong, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority: garanteprivacy.it.
Changes
If the site changes — new forms, new tools — this page changes with it, and the date of the last update is always at the top.
